Name: 35th Annual Elementary Art Exhibit Opening at Remington Museum
Date: March 3, 2018
Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM EST
Event Description:
The Frederic Remington Art Museum announces the opening of its 35th Annual Elementary Art Exhibit with a reception on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 2 – 4 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.

The reception offers a chance to meet young artists—and some of their teachers—and is a great way to celebrate art education. The exhibition includes work by elementary students from schools throughout the North Country, including Clifton-Fine Central School, Colton-Pierrepont Central School, Hammond Central School, Hermon-DeKalb Central School, Heuvelton Central School, Immaculate Heart Central School, Lisbon Central School, Massena Central School, Morristown Central School, Ogdensburg Central School, Parishville-Hopkinton Central School, and St. Lawrence Central Elementary School.

During the reception, the Remington Museum will be open for visitors to explore, and dedicated staff and docents will be on hand for questions and answers. The Elementary Art Exhibit will be on display in the Richard E. Winter Gallery at the Frederic Remington Art Museum through May 13th, 2018.

The Remington Museum would like to recognize the efforts of the teachers in developing and encouraging these young artists, and in doing the extra work it takes to participate in this annual exhibit. Thank you, art teachers!
