Event Description:

Saturday’s schedule is as follows:

Kids Fishing Derby from 7 to 11 a.m. (ages 3-15) at the Heuvelton Boat Launch - open boundaries fishing.

“Sun Run” an almost 4-mile walk/run; registration begins at 7 a.m., race at 8 a.m. at Montroy Contracting, 26 Annette St., Cost is $10 per person, first 100 participants receive a shirt.

St. Lawrence Valley Paddlers Remington II Canoe Race; check in at 9 a.m., race at 10 a.m. at West Front St. in Rensselaer Falls.

Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Heuvelton Fire Hall. $1 admission.

Baby Contest at 10 a.m. in the churchyard at St. Raphael’s Church for ages newborn to 24 months. Families are asked to bring a blanket or chair and anyone older than two to please wear a mask and practice social distancing of six feet.

Heuvelton Free Library Quilt Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pickens Hall (third floor). If you would like to enter a quilt, call the library at 315 344-6550.

Free Ice Cream Social from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the State St. Deli, 108 State St.; sponsored by State St. Deli, Stewart’s and Fostering Futures of St. Lawrence County.

Duck Race at noon at the flat rocks on the River Road; sponsored by the St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union.

Concert at the Boat Launch; sponsored by the Heuvelton Volunteer Fire Department. $10 cover charge. Fulton Road Band from 4 to 7 p.m., DJ Mike Macaulay from 7 to 7:45 p.m., Another Fine Mess from 8 to 11 p.m. with a break in between for the fireworks. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
