Event Description:
A Civil War reenactor for over 20 years, Dallas Robinson will talk about the 26th Independent Calvary, formed as a home guard in St. Lawrence County as a direct result of the 1864 Confederate raid in St. Albans, VT. Their duty was to patrol the St. Lawrence River border to detect the presence of Confederate spies, infiltrators, and copperheads.
